The Cabin - a very quiet location

The host was very welcoming, the location was fabulous , quiet yet within walking distance of a good pub.

The sofa bed in lounge could have been more comfortable.

The host

Cleanliness, tired and run down. Too many dogs which are not mentioned in Booking.com info. A step up from camping.

Sehr ruhig. Pub direkt in der Nähe. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Seine Hunde waren sehr lieb.

Die Schlafcouch als dritte Person ist etwas hoch. Deckenhöhe ist etwas niedrig.

De slaapkamer. Geweldig bed en rustig.

Niet goed schoongemaakt.

The host was helpful and friendly. The cabin had everything I needed. It was peaceful.

The garden isn't as tidy as it looks in the photos. The ceilings and doors are low so not great for tall people like me. Just a couple of things could do with being finished off, like under the shower and under the cupboards below the sink, to make it look tidier.

De divan als slaapplaats kon uitgerold worden en was best oké The sofa could be rolled out and was more comfortable than I had expected. Coffee was available, which I had not expected. Mid-sumer, slept with open windows: no mosquitoes. The pub/restaurant was only 100 m away.

Ik had de kleine lettertjes niet gelezen waarin stond dat er honden waren. Al bij al vielen ze mee, omdat de eigenaar ze ook terugfloot. Ik had niet de precieze route-instructies gekregen; we hebben wat moeten zoeken, alhoewel er maar enkele straten in dat gehucht zijn.

A well-fashioned dwelling, serene and furnished with all comforts for a most cosy sojourn. A host most gracious — would that I could tarry a while longer upon mine next return.
