Alpesmith - Bike & Ski apartments

Location was great. The studio did lack basic amenities such as an oven, microwave & toaster. So you either boiled or fried things. Campo Smith could do with a shop on site or one where basics like bread could be purchased.

- location - just down the slopes (2 min walk to the ski lift) - ski storage - parking - kitchenette - the hosts are really nice and were really welcoming and helpful - the studio was really clean

- we did not know (maybe we did not check) that the bed was actually a sofa bed so not the most comfortable bed. - we could hear upstairs neighbour and the music from the bar - nice to have a dishwasher but there was no dishwasher’s tabs

Very comfortable apartment overlooking the ski slopes. The location is amazing!! Apartment was very clean and had facilities and room for our family of 7. The fire is especially cosy after a day skiing! Giulia and Walter are exceptional hosts going out of their way to help in any way they can! Ski hire and ski lessons are all in same building and Giulia arranged a discount for both of these and introduced me to both of them. The apartment has a ski locker downstairs to store your gear. There is a free bus into town and other ski slopes which is a 2 minute walk from apartment. The bus runs regularly during the day. The walk into Bardoneccia town centre and the train station is a pleasant 20 minutes. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely return!! ❤️

We loved the location right infront of the Campo Smith chairlift. We had a bird's eye view of the New Year celebrations and fireworks from our balcony which was amazing. We loved that the ski rental company and lesson provider were next to our apartment making everything very convenient for a successful ski trip. It was just a pity that the snow conditions were so poor. Covererd parking right under the apartment was an added bonus as well.

It would have been better if there had been more hot water for showering and a larger/more powerful shower head. We also found the apartment was a little cold in the mornings as the radiators were all off at that time and we couldn't find a way to regulate them. We used the open fireplace to heat the living room up which was great. We would also have appreciated more sockets in the bedroom to enable us to have the bedside lights on and the possibility to charge a mobile phone at the same time (it was either or due to there being just one socket on each side of the bed)

The managers of the location (Giulia) were absolutely brilliant and went out of their way to ensure everything was easy to access and comfortable. The location is brilliant and the actual space is perfect (comfortable bed, sofa, light etc..) and it's great to have one's own home cooked meals. Honestly can't rate it high enough.
