There was no dedicated parking for the property. Whilst we were informed that there were parking slots in the courtyard next to the property, the parking was full during our stay and we had to wait around to find a parking slot for the night. In the end, we decided to leave the car parked there during our stay and used public transport and a cab once, as there was no assurance we would find a slot for the night. The taxi service recommended wanted to charge us the fare for pick up and drop off when we called them.

The apartment is very comfortable, modern amenities, excellent AC and has a nice view. The hosts were very communicative and pleasant to engage.

The location isn’t advertised as being situated right on a very busy, noisy highway. Even though the property has a balcony and patio, we couldn’t use it because of that. Also, you can directly see (and be seen by) the neighbor when you’re in the patio so it doesn’t have privacy. The apartment is not convenient location wise. It is higher up on the hills so there is a lot of steep climbing to get to even food or the ferry. The bus doesn’t run as frequently and the host didn’t provide a local taxi drivers number so the taxi costs are high. Parking is very difficult in the area so bringing a car wasn’t really a solution either. Finally, there are nearly four flights of stairs, quite steep, to even get to the apartment. This is also not very clear from the listing.
