Luxury & Cushy Private Room in DC

Nice, spacious room with en-suite bathroom. Nicely decorated living room and kitchen. Close to public transport, easy to reach the metro.

The owner did not reply to any of the questions, the check-in details came very late after arriving in the US which was embarrassing. The location is not the safest in Washington D.C. The kitchen was empty there was not even a tea bag or coffee or a bottle of mineral water.

The house was ok and a bus stop was on the corner.

We spent 3days in a room smaller than what we paid for with a shared dirty bathroom. The owner kept saying he would move us to the larger room with a private bathroom and provide some basic items that where not provided like no washcloths one one towel for a week. I requested extra pillow and blankets when i booked the room and 2weeks and a few days before I came with no answer and the items where not provided Then to be ignored. He also promised a refund for the days we had the wrong room, but he never did. He did not answer calls in a timely manner(day and a half) Booking .com called and emailed him and booking.com said they would take care of it but they never did. I am a RN and I wanted to have a good stay, support small business and experience a real neighborhood verses a hotel. I wish I got a hotel then someone would have cared. I am still waiting for some kind of consideration. I will never use this site again.

Egy órára van a belváros. Metró buszmegálló közel van. Tágas nagy szoba gardróbbal együtt. Olvastam több véleményt is a szállásról amit a többi vendég hagyott én nem mondanám rossz szállásnak főleg ennyi pénzért. Vannak hibái az igaz viszont szerintem aránytalanul le van pontozva.

Egy hetet voltunk egyszer sem jöttek takarítani, nem volt törölköző csere. A szállás nem a legjobb környéken van. Este érkeztünk meg kicsit féltünk a buszon és a metrón, de szerencsére nem történt semmi atrocitás. Összeségében nekünk pozitív volt a tapasztalat. Ha a takarítás sűrűségén változtat a tulaj ez egy profi szállás lesz.

Comfortable bed.

Other occupants left their dirty dishes in the kitchen. The stove top and microwave were splattered with food. We found one fork and one teaspoon. No sign of housekeeping. I made multiple requests for tea and coffee. It finally came three days into our stay. Noisy occupants playing music all night. No housekeeping.

It has a good location, transportation very close, very quiet and spacious place

The owners never responded to concerns about the facilities, the room was very dirty, a lot of dust under the bed and on the sides of it

When we arrived on the first day, we found a hair on the bedsheet. It was clear that the sheet was old and hadn’t been changed. We sent a message to the owner. On the second day, we received a reply saying someone would come to change it. Unfortunately, when we returned in the evening, nothing had been done—no one came to change the sheet. So we sent another message, but we didn’t receive any response after that.

My stay was terrible. The room was very, very cold, around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. We asked for an extra blanket (there was only one for two people) or an additional heater, but they ignored us. The kitchen shown in the photos is a common area, not private, and the same goes for the bathroom. Both were dirty. Some of the furniture was broken. I also asked for a hairdryer, but they ignored that too. I do not recommend this place. Almost all of the description is false.
