Das Eck Haus - Cozy Cabin Getaway

Location, stove was not functioning. Appeared to be an antique.

BEDS were horrible. I guess they were old. Tub was dangerous to get out of, slipped on rock strp.

An authentic and rustic "Sunday house" cabin on the northeast side of town, looking out over the fields: we spotted deer every morning and evening, a fox and many birds while relaxing on the porch. Close enough to walk into the bustle of Main Street, but peaceful and relaxing quiet location.

Very clean. Decor was awesome. Location was good watch the wildlife.

There is nothing to dislike.

Loved the coziness and cleanliness of the cabin and the view was lovely! It was quiet, good for star gazing and watching cows and deer from the front porch! We loved it!

The sofa wasn’t cumfy, the downstairs bed was a bit small for two people and we couldn’t figure out how to work the stove top.

We all loved the charm of the property.

We wished there would have been 2 showers instead of a bathtub.

Beautiful Rustic cabin! We stayed from 8/7 to 8/11 for vacation. It's a few blocks from the main road and still feels secluded. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. If you looking for unique accommodations while staying in Fredericksburg this is one to stay at! If you're an early riser you can watch deer walk around on the property. When we return I will definitely inquire about reservations again. The price for the week and awesome communication with the owner is a win for me. Thanks for letting us stay at Das Eck Haus!

It's not ADA friendly. Bed downstairs needs a new mattress!!; the lighting is bad. Too dim
