Blue Oasis 2BR Condo by the Beach

The location was great! Easy access to beach and nice area. Apartment itself was very nice however quite dirty.

Very unorganized key-handover. The host was not proactive to make sure we would have a easy stay. No response to written prior written communication. The apartment was quite dirty and in general lacking any care. Everything was bare minimum including amounts of towels, toilet paper, plates and tools in the kitchen. All things which could be solved with very minimal effort. There wasn't even a vacuum cleaner so we could clean it up ourselves. All in all a nice place but with a very lack of care.

Location was terrific

Apartment was almost bare of any necessities and definitely not like an airbnb.

Very nice location and great value

We loved the location. We were able to walk across the street to a path that led to South Beach Park. The pool was nice. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The keypad allowed for easy access to the condo. We enjoyed walking to the Gumbo Limbo environmental center and to a local shopping strip that had a restaurant good for breakfast and lunch, Playa Bowls, an ice cream shop, pizza shop, Thai restaurant, bike shop and a few other shops. There is a small but nice looking public golf course next door.

Poor communication. I received the code to unlock the door but never received correct information for the WIFI. We got locked out of the front door to the building which we later found out from other tenants that it happens at times. We arrived in the dark and did not see the open stairwells so that is an easy fix (take steps to first floor) but alarming to us until we learned this. The elevator is very slow. We stayed for 9 nights and got 6 bath towels. I don't mind doing laundry; however, the dryer didn't work. This is not a criticism for the owner as we rented thru Booking.com, but do not think of this as an AIRBNB as there are not the extras that you usually have at such accommodations. There was 1 coffee pod for the keurig and there were no cooking extras such as salt and pepper, oils, spices, etc.. There are no beach towels, chairs, etc.. There were no cleaning supplies such as a broom, bathroom or kitchen cleaners. We hit the grocery store and Wal-Mart for everything that we needed.

Property was in a perfect location, quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

Our original unit was not clean when we arrived after a long travel day. But the manager moved us to another unit immediately and was very responsive. So we didn’t like the surprise but were impressed with the responsiveness (we were in the other unit within 10 minutes).
