Elegant 5-Bed House with ample parking

Spacious bedrooms, modern decor, comfortable kitchen / dining / lounge area. Plenty of space for parking.

We couldn't find a hairdryer! But that's it!

We loved the house it is spacious, beds are comfy, perfect location for access to Ashby, lots of space for parking, big well stocked kitchen and large garden. Would highly recommend and stay again!

a couple of small things we noticed, fixing these would make it perfect: - Only 1 towel per room instead of 1 per person so we had to share - 9 chairs in the house instead of 10 - Not enough cutlery for 10

Lots of space, very good wi-fi, big TVs in many of the rooms. Plenty of towels, bed inen, pillows, etc. Good sized rooms.

We were greeted with half a mouldy pasta bake sat in the oven...messaged (with photo) the host via Booking.com (the only contact available to us) but got no response. No toaster, no clothes-airer, short of a couple of forks. Fridge not particularly clean. Useful washing machine but no means of drying anything.

The location was good. A short walk to the centre of the town. The local Fish and Chip shop was a great find. The house was warm, clean and modern.

The saucepans/frying pans oven trays were dirty and in very poor condition with lots of scratches and base layers showing through. Only 1 saucepan for a house of 10 is too small. No toaster or tea pot. Plus we bought 2 bean bags as insufficient comfortable seating in the lounge/dining room. The £250 damage fee, was in fact £500. Insufficient towels were provided. 2 people had to use hand towels for their shower. In changing the pillowcases one pillow had its filling more outside than in, I didn't remove any other pillowcases.
