"A lovely flat that some tweaks could turn into something special"

8.0

This is a lovely first floor flat which has been done up to a high standard in most respects. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very good and well equipped, the sitting room was very comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was lovely and warm with a really good shower

It was strange not to have any curtains in the sitting room, and some lamps in there would help it to look more cosy. The second bedroom seemed more of an afterthought, with blinds that didn't open and not much space. Much better instructions for how to turn on the heating would have been useful, though the agents were very good in getting back to us and explaining things. Also, for the price that we paid - over £170 a night, some milk in the fridge and perhaps some biscuits wouldn't have gone amiss and the entrance to the property and the stairs up could really do with sprucing up!
