Gorgeous apartment in a perfect location

Having to walk so far to collect drop off keys. Also not even just basic salt pepper & bits in apartment. Pillows were just 1 long on a double bed & no extras or extra duvets.

The apartment itself and terrace were amazing for what we needed. Clean, spacious and had all the basics. Great location.

It was a bit of building site next to the apartment we were in which we weren't aware of so some very early mornings. Lift occasionally didn't work so 6 flights of stairs was hard going. It was always back in working order quickly. Early morning drop off of the keys could be better.

Avoid at all costs

Property manager via benidorm booking.com and apartment block also has its own concierge. We knocked over a bollard accident (only thr top plastic bit broken & bulb). They then sent me an invoice for over €340 saying it was for a new post entirely! They simply took a plastic top off another post and added it to the one we broke! Absolutely trying to rip us off. Attached an image of the bollard after we broke the top... also what it looked like afterwards with a top added from another bollard.. Never say here and never use benidorm booking . Com. They have refused to respond to my messages but kept the €200 so I'm having to go through the credit card company to raise a dispute.

Location was excellent. Good for either the old or new town.. penthouse balcony would be great in the summer months.

Not enough mirrors in the property for 5 females. Only one mirror beside a Plug socket in the bathroom.. 2 bedroom had no mirrors at all. No bathmat or bin in the bathroom. An accident waiting to happen.. No wine Glasses in the apartment.. floors and rooms cold in the winter months.. damp smell from tablecloth and from astroturf on balcony. Water heater could not cope with 5 people having showers at one time. Water turned very cold 4th shower in… had to wait at least 1 hour for Hot water again. Also beds on the small side for Doubles. Still waiting in my deposit being refunded after 4 days.

The large terrace has winter sun (November) from 10.30-14.30. The egg chair was very relaxing. The property has heating via the air con units of which there are 4 in total. 1 in each bedroom. We had to contact the office as this function takes a few minutes to kick in but works very effectively. The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk to the old town and 5 minutes walk to the end of Gerona for bars and entertainment should you wish. The buses all go along to the end of mediterraneo for €1.60 single and takes 4 minutes. There is a dolce gusto coffee machine. The apartment is very comfortable with a large TV ( we took our firestick to access Netflix etc) the WiFi works well. Note: The staff in the office are friendly and helpful but are about a mile away. 15 minute walk. We had to travel back & forth on the bus to reach the office as my Dad is elderly and can’t walk far. We were given a snapped key on the second set and had to return to the office to drop this off and pick up again. Also to drop the keys back off on our departure. If your flight arrives early the check in is 16.30 and you cannot leave your cases in the office. We were called around 15.15 to collect the keys. There is a deposit of £174 €200 euros which can be paid on card. It would be much more convenient if a member of staff met you at the apartment to hand the keys over or use of a key safe on exit.

The lift broke down on our last day after making a terrible loud vibrating noise on level 4 during our stay which could be felt throughout the building day & night. We were forced to use the stairs with our cases from level 6. The kettle is tiny and looks like a toy, it does hold water for 2 small cups of tea. The cutlery is very cheap stainless steel and there isn’t a good selection of glasses. Only large tumblers. No wine glasses. Plenty of pots available. No oven only a hob. Also the sink doesn’t have a basin or plug but they do provide a bag with washing up liquid, a sponge and cloth for the dishes which is great. I did wake up very cold during the night in the corner bedroom next to the kitchen/ bathroom and realised the windows didn’t lock and was slightly open. I had to pull down the outside shutter. The duvets are large but not very warm for winter.
