Haben auf dem Weg nach Bordeaux dort für 1 Nacht übernachtet. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer war groß , auch das Bad. Alles sehr sauber. Da das Restaurant geschlossen war, waren wir im Bistro essen. Sehr empfehlenswert

Varied buildings all belonging to hotel were nice and staff was very accommodating. We arrived and slept very late due to jet lag. The front desk called us and asked if we would like breakfast and then they brought two huge trays piled with delicious food and hot coffee. We dined at the hotel’s signature restaurant and met Chef Doucet during our meal. My massage was excellent and the sauna was really hot. It was all wonderful.

Staff were friendly. Room was very well laid out and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable.

Re the hotel -it could do with a bar area to relax in (rather than several conference rooms!) Our stay was sullied by our dinner at the Bistro. Despite having made a reservation weeks in advance, we were offered the worst table in the restaurant - ie right by the pass. This, despite the inside area (outside was full) being 80% empty. We did ask to move, which we were 'able' to do, but it's just not a good initial approach/attitude. The food itself, however, was very good and the other waiters much friendlier.

This was our second visit and despite some issues re the closure of the Bistro , the team went to great trouble to cater for our eating needs, which was greatly appreciated. We also had a room upgrade which was fantastic.

I would say that the addition of a bar for guests would be maybe something to consider, the team were terrific and served us in the courtyard.
