"A great apartment, in an area we loved!"

It’s such a lovely property! Very well equipped and in a great spot for exploring Madrid as first time visitors with kids aged 20, 16 and 9. They loved their bedroom, which is in the basement. Very comfortable beds and bedding. We don’t make any food at the property, other than breakfast, but if you wanted to this place has everything you need! The communication with the owners was very good.

Two nights we had people knocking on the window late at night, but according to our next door neighbour this is normal and nothing to worry about. My understanding is this is an up and coming area and typical of an urban area with a late night culture. It didn’t bother us one bit as the apartment felt very safe.

Great restaurants nearby, warm host, nice equiped apartment.

Lavapies area can be a little sketchy, but no safety concerns, of course you have to be aware of surroundings.
