Mzima Beach Residences - Diani Beach

The private sunbeds on the beach. We also ended up renting the family bungalow which was amazing! The staff at reception was great!

The private rooms with a fan were too hot and the staff at the bar the bit slow...

Great pool with a deep section (up to 2.8 m). Nice option to try an introductory diving course. The food was very tasty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The ocean is very close, with a beautiful white sandy beach.

The bed and mattress were not comfortable – the bed was squeaky and the mattress too soft, so sleep quality was poor. When it rains and you have to stay indoors, the room feels quite dark due to small windows; lighting could be improved. Swimming in the ocean depends on timing, as low tide or strong waves can stir up plants from the seabed.

The location is great with easy access to the beach. Having full access to the deep swimming pool. there are many funny monkeys. I prefer ordering breakfast from a menu rather than having a buffet, so I really appreciate that this hotel doesn’t offer a buffet-style breakfast. It feels more personal and the food is fresher. All the food in the restaurant was well worth the price—extremely delicious and the portions were very large. The rooms were very spacious, with a surprisingly roomy seating area. A/C works very good! The staff are very helpful and cheerful. An amazing host—such a sweet and welcoming lady. She was always responsive and ready to help with anything we needed. She kindly allowed us late check-out and had everything perfectly prepared for our arrival, which we really appreciated.

The only thing that bothered me was the wooden bed frame. It is beautiful, but it creaks quite loudly when you turn over in bed and can wake you up.

This is the perfect Hotel on the Beach if you want total relaxation in Paradise this is it. I've stayed here many times over the year's and the hotel gets plenty of repeat guests and that speaks volumes. It's definitely value for money the restaurant food is amazing and not over priced like most in diani. If your into kite surfing there's a school next door and hire out equipment for the professionals.

The Hotel is going under new changes at the moment new management i can't comment on something that's likely to change and get better so I'll see next time I visit what improvements have been made 😁. .
