This is a beautiful apartment with everything you require for a short break. It is well serviced and in an excellent location situated close to the train station and historical sites.

The impersonal nature of the communication with the owner/ person managing the property. There was no response to the email sent via booking.com. I received a response to my "WhatsApp" communication on the day of travel. The owner/person managing the property is only there from 3 - 7pm, otherwise it is self check in. The apartment is accessed via a code to enter the main building and a further code to enter the apartment. On the last night the code into the apartment didn't work. After trying on a number of occasions, contact was made with the owner/ person managing the property. The suggestion was to "put the code in again push and pull strong". This is a fire door. After further attempts the door opened. The owner/ person managing the property subsequently advised that there was a key located elsewhere. Prior to the issue with the code, the owner/ person managing the property had sent a message to advise on the time the apartment was to be vacated and to leave €20 for the tourist tax. This appeared to be purely a business operation. The personal touch is missing.

The apartment was quiet and clean, with a lovely view from the balcony.

The bed was not comfortable, could be personal taste. There were no tea towels or kitchen towel available for wash up.

The apartment is spacious, with a nice kitchen where you can cook and a small terrace with a city view. It has almost everything you could possibly need. The location is right in the center, close to the old town. Communication with the host was easy, and he provided us with needed information about taxis.

Unfortunately, the floors were dirty – we found a cigarette filter, a lot of dust, and hair. There was a problem with the thermostat – it was warm in the evening, but we were freezing in the morning. It turned out it had stopped. Also, there were no bathroom supplies, not even soap, which was a bit inconvenient. If you’re traveling with a suitcase, keep in mind that the apartment is on the top floor, there is no elevator, and the stairs are steep.

Easy access procedure. Apartment is beautiful well maintained and spotlessly clean. It is as seen in the photos. It is in a quiet area within walking distance (15 mins through Corso Italia) from train station. Walk to Corso Stretto and Plaza Garibaldi in 3/4 mins and the Leaning Tour can be reached in 6/7 mins.

It is an old building and apartment can only be reached via stairs...not really an issue for myself or my daughter but could be for those with restricted mobility. Only thing to note is that the stairway is very dark at night with no lights working and we had to use our phone lights. Difficult if you are carrying luggage or bags.

Location, facilities, size

Ok for us but apartment on 3rd floor and no lift and may be a problem for some people

Quiet, clean, spacious and refurbished apartment. Well placed for easy access to the historic quarter and main shopping area and not far to walk from the train station....about 15 mins.

A lot of steps (62) up to the third floor! Not easy with heavy luggage. The management of the apartment was rather impersonal, all done by messaging; no direct contact with the owner/ manager. We had a few issues with several very basic, necessary items missing, but these were supplied fairly promptly after our communication. A more personalised management of the apartment would be beneficial I feel.

The property was easy to find and checkin was so easy. We were very comfortable. The fact the property was so central was amazing with cafes right outside we were able to walk everywhere.

Didn’t realize there were so many sets up to the apartment. Which my sister struggled with as she has arthritis but we were out most of the time enjoying Pisa and Florence so it was manageable.

Excellent location and decoration.

It would have been nice if there was an option to leave our luggage in a safe place for a few hours on departure day.
