Van Zylsvlei - A Karoo Guest Farm

It was a lovely family vibe with plenty of space for our toddler to play and swim. Ideal stopover for a family travelling between Jhb and Cape Town.

It does not look like the pictures on the site at all. The pool was so dirty. Just continue on and sleep somewhere else.

We did not stay for breakfast, but we had the dinner and drinks the night before. We felt that the menu is a bit over priced for what was served. I had the lamb curry which was very average (not much curry) and my wife opted for the green salad. Food was edible but not worth the price. We enjoyed our room and have no issues. Will definitely stay there again.

As mentioned above, the food was okay but over priced in my opinion.

What more do you want after a long day of traveling…a pool, your own dogs running free, aircon and a “home cooked” meal!

The mattress was a bit wobbly…when my partner moved, everything moved, so I woke up often during the night.

Die plek is pet friendly. Staff is baie vriendlik en behulpsaam help graag al is dit na ure. Skoon en netjie. Dadelik ge 'upgrade' oor lange gebly het.
