Kirki Rooms on the Hill

La stanza era grande e comoda per un soggiorno anche abbastanza lungo, letto comodissimo, stanza arieggiata, non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno di accendere il condizionatore. L’angolo cucina piccolo ma abbastanza funzionale. Molto comoda la posizione, vicina al paese di Paroikia ma situata su queste colline che permettono di ascoltare solo il rumore delle cicale e del vento tra gli ulivi; a soli venti minuti o poco più da tutte le spiagge più belle dell’isola.

Ripeto che ci siamo trovati benissimo quindi l’unico suggerimento che darei è quello di aggiungere qualche molletta in più allo stendino, ce ne è stata fornita solo una, avremmo sicuramente potuto chiedere però al di là di ciò metterne solo una a disposizione credo sia negativo, forse anche una piccola bacinella per lavare costumi e asciugamani da spiaggia sarebbe utile.

Our standard twin room was really homely, well-kept, clean, and comfortable, and had enough to move around, with a terrace overlooking the countryside and with a seaview. Our host, Maro who was waiting for our arrival at Nisea Cafe, drove us to our lodging. She proved to be generous and friendly, ready to go out of her way to accommodate us, and very helpful, giving us valuable info about the island and its attractions. There are loads of eateries along the Livadia beach line, yet our breakfast preference was in fact as Nisea Cafe. Food there is a real threat and Maro and her staff absolutely cordial. We highly recommend Kirki Rooms & Studios.

The beach and the port are both within walking distance, however, there is an uphill walk to the Studios. Own transport is a must, since there is no public transport near this area.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The terrace with the sea view was just perfect – we spent so much time out there enjoying the breeze and the sunsets. The location is quiet but ideal for exploring the island. A big thank you to Maro, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We really felt at home – hope to come back soon!

La tranquillità, la pulizia della stanza, il cambio asciugamani ogni due giorni, la possibilità di farsi la colazione perché c'è l'occorrente, il materasso e i cuscini ottimi. La gentilezza di Maro. Siamo stati molto bene.

La anfitriona fue maravillosa y las vistas desde el balcón me encantaron. Todos los días venía una chica muy amable a limpiar y hacer la cama. Todo estaba muy limpio.

La cama era algo blanda, pero quizás eso depende de los gustos de cada uno.
