Ardoyne Lodge 'Sleeping 4 Guests'

Place was spotless, hot tub was such a nice feature and made for plenty of fun and laughs. Comfortable beds and very modern home.

The only thing you could potentially say was the area. The flags etc could put some people off but that's not the fault of the owners it's just one of those things you accept when staying in Belfast.

The property is newly refurbed. I had seen the transformation on instagram a few months ago when the property was realeased online. I had never been to Ireland and it was my 37th Birthday coming up and I wanted to see the Titanic Museum with 2 friends. City centre hotels was charging £100pn for 1 double room. This was only 2 miles away from city centre and worked out at £398 total for thurs 20th July to Sun 23rd. Between 3 people was £133 for the stay each. The added bonus that sold it was the hotub room. We paid the extra to use it on the fri night on my bday as a relax before going out. The property is beautiful clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Dishwasher was amazing as we cooked a full roast dinner sat. All utensils and hand washes and washing up liquid available. Towels and tea towel. The bed and the sofa is extremely comfy and the living room fire is beautiful. All rooms have a feature to them which makes it unique. We loved it that much we are looking to stay again or at another of the property’s they own. There’s also a bus stop next to carrs Glenn primary school, 1 minute away. A bus to city centre is only around £3 or £4.70 a day ticket on all buses. About a 20 minute journey or taxis costed us around £9 each way. The house was on in all beautiful, clean, comfy & Homely. The bathrooms sink is too small to wash your face in and you end up splashing water everywhere and The dog across the street barking constantly day and night …. However you can’t choose your neighbours!

The communications between the host and us. We travel far to get to the property and i find the replies coming very slow. I’d recommend the VIP Area to be included in the cost, and not advertised as being included as part of the facilities and then having to pay extra at a later time. This on top of a security deposit could end up quite costly even though you get your deposit money back. Again advertisement lacks communication. However we had a great stay and will probably visit again.

The name Ardoyne because the property is nowhere near Ardoyne its upper Oldpark and this could also put other guests of booking especially during marching seasons etc when tensions here can be high

Very modern, well equipped and clean house. Host very responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend the jacuzzi when staying.

Modern Decor and amenities. Loved the VIP area with hot tub and furnishings. Good response from owner.

Climbing of stairs each time to reach the toilet amenities. (Bad knees). Shower room a little small.

It was clean, comfortable and cute. Helpful restaurant suggestions and easy parking.

The upstairs was a little warm. It would have been great if we could have unlocked the bedroom windows for some air after our showers made it humid.

Fabulous accommodation clean tidy and well presented all you need for a night away
