At Sarah´s (Fully Equiped Studio)

Cozy and had everything we needed. Great location to the city center.

The location was more difficult to get to from the DB than anticipated. The locks on the front door were hard to use and would get stuck.

Quiet location. The train station is a 17-minute walk away, and the city center can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. Clean small studio.

1. Communication with the host was not prompt. Questions were often answered only after three days. 2. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were huge and extremely hard, like stones, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The mattress was made of a cheap, non-breathable material. There was also an unpleasant stale smell coming from the bed. Sleeping there was neither pleasant . 3. The cutlery is right next to the trash can.

The absolute advantage of these apartments is the proximity to the historical center of Trier. There is a REWE supermarket not far from the apartment. The apartment has a clean bathroom with working equipment. Which is also good, in addition to the stove, there is a mini oven that can be used to heat food. The pillows are comfortable, the bed linen is clean.

Unfortunately, these advantages are overshadowed by a number of disadvantages: 1) Storing cutlery next to the trash can is unacceptable. It's unsanitary. 2) Incorrect information about the availability of a washing machine. It was critically important for us to have a washing machine. In fact, there is a public laundry in the house next door, but it does not work on Sundays. 3) A very cramped closet filled with the hostess's belongings. There is practically nowhere for guests to put their clothes in it. 4) Most of the drawers in other furniture are occupied by the hostess's belongings, and therefore guests have nowhere to put their luggage. 5) Instead of a normal towel for wiping dishes, a disposable cleaning cloth was offered. 6) A shortage of teaspoons. 7) Due to the cramped space, it is difficult for the second person to get up from the double bed (the chest of drawers is in the way). 8) There's no proper coat rack. There are only two hooks nailed to the top of the front door. I had trouble reaching them. It's inconvenient. A small closet could have been used instead of a shoe rack. 9) Instructions regarding the location of garbage room are unclear.

Attractive tariff

Although advertised as a fully equipped apartment, it had no ironing board, the towels were thin (worn) and there was sundry surplus stuff in the cupboards. Also, although seemingly close to the railway station, it was a 20 minute walk in order to cross the railway line.

De locatie was rustig en schoon, maar de omgeving, achter het station was rommelig en er was geen doorgang onder het station naar het centrum.

Parkplätze gut. Ruhig. Gute Heizung. Wer sich mit normalem Fernsehen und Fernseh Apps nicht so auskennt bekommt Probleme beim Free TV anschauen. So erging es mir. Aber über die Apps habe ich mir dann doch schöne Filme herausgesucht als 65 jähriger technisch eher unversierter. Alles in allem aber eine sehr gute Unterkunft. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Geschirr, Kaffee icnl., Tee, Kühlschrank, Herdplatte, Kochgeschirr, Besteck... Gewürze.

Es fehlte ein Abtrockentuch fürs benutze Geschirr. Habe keines gefunden.

Super Lage, alles da was man braucht. Das Bett ist sehr bequem.
