"Lovely stay in this big house"

9.0

Lovely nice sized house on a very nice holiday park. We stayed in June 2023 so the holiday park was nice and quiet. The house itself is great and is perfect for a family holiday. You could actually fit up to 10 people in there, if 2 were couples. All the rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfy. The shower is good. The location is great, as it is only a short drive to the best areas of Cornwall. It said no parking, but there were parking spaces one minute away from the house, although it might be harder to find a space if the holiday park is very busy in the school holidays. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned very well, as a previous guest had left a plaster stuck on the shower. There was no washing up bowl and the sink leaks very quickly, making it very difficult to wash up. There were no oven gloves which made it difficult when cooking. I reported these issues upon arrival and someone from Tom's Holidays rang me and said they would drop off a washing up bowl and oven gloves the next day, but they didn't. We could've done with more than one front door key also, because when there are lots of people staying and go out at different times, we kept having to leave the door unlocked, which is not the best if you have gone to bed without locking the door and obviously you can't lock it from the inside and put the key in the keybox. The holiday park itself is great with lots of things to do, like playing tennis or crazy golf. There is a swimming pool, but it is absolutely tiny and it is impossible to swim when children are in it throwing balls around. So, only use it if you want to have a splash around with your children.
