"The Perfect Tuscan getaway"

What an amazing villa in a brilliant location overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It was a little further down the track than we expected, go past the Panizzi winery (https://www.panizzi.it/ which is also well worth a visit) and its a few hundred meters down the left hand fork, but what a view. The villa is well appointed and we spent most of our time on the balcony or in the pool just soaking up the ever-changing light, especially my wife who as an artist almost filled her sketchbook. The rooms are spacious, especially the lounge / dining area, clean and comfortable, and the showers in the 4 en-suites just great. Then you have the added separate BBQ and traditional wood-fired Pizza oven building, which was so much fun to experiment with one evening. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and explained everything and liaised with us in the run-up to our stay so that we could could coordinate arrival times.

That we only stayed for a week...should have booked longer, but there is always another year for a return visit. The only thing we didn't totally figure out was the digital kettle, but that too was fun trying to guess what temperature it would go to...but then you can always use the hob to boil a pan of water as a fall-back!
