Studios of the Panteão, 0th floor

Great host with a capital "G" . Sonya met us at the property. Showed us everything we would need to know about the studio. Provided information on nearby attractions (The studio is situated in an excellent location) and restaurants. She was excellent with communication.

The apartment is very nice and well equipped, Sonya is so caring, she is always making sure you are okay and have everything you need. The cleaning was good, and the location worked great for us, with the metro station so close

The bathroom tends to keep all humidity in, but Sonya provides a dehumidifier so be sure to use it after you use the shower

Clean and cozy apartment in a very beautiful neighborhood. We always like the feeling of living among local people. As for Sonya, I can only say the best. She is a very lively and caring person, we really loved her. I also got sick the last day and she helped us a lot!

Well located near Metro station and Alfama area . Refurbished to high standards, plenty hot water etc wifi good, Host is very helpful and available.

A little street noise at night but not unexpected. Didn't bother us but it is a VERY steep location with no parking if anyone has mobility issues.

It is in a beautiful old building in the old town. But it is well refurnished. The bathroom and kitchen are clean. The host is very nice and easy going.

The shower door doesn't close completely, causing water to leak. The small room beside the bed for hanging clothes is a little bit hard to reach without hitting the head onto the “ceiling”.

For short, we were a little skeptical of all the positive reviews but still wanted to give it a try. Nothing said by previous travelers was exaggerated. Location is nice, accommodations are good. Hostess "Sonya" was amazing, helpful in every way possible. We have surely enjoyed our stay in this apartment, in this part of the city. When we go back to Lisbon, we will surely come back. Thank you for the amazing stay.

For sure, there are small improvements that could be made. Not that we want to complain, we really enjoyed our stay 😊 Our recommendations would be: Ventilation: We found that the room can be quite humid, so either a better ventilation system or a heater in the bathroom would help. The towels were always wet. Coffee: A coffee machine would be nice, either with pods or pads.. Upgrade the TV: I know no one comes to Lisbon to watch TV, but for rainy days when you want to stay in and watch a movie, it would be nice to actually see the TV clearly. There are good wall-mounting solutions these days that would help in a smaller space like this. It could also be a smart TV that visitors can connect to and stream with their own devices.

The property is located in the São Vicente district, close to the historical district of Alfama. Short walking distance from Santa Apolonia subway and train station, Pingo Doce grocery store and National Pantheon. Castelo de São Jorge and Lisbon Cathedral are also not too far (about 18-20 min walk). The host is very friendly and welcoming. This place was relatively affordable.

Property is up the hill and on the ground floor ; there is only a single simple door from the street, which was fortunately not too busy. The apartment is missing some basic practical furniture (e.g. no bedside table, no bathroom shelf or table ; no shelf in the shower). Even if this is not related to the property, please note that Google Maps is not quite reliable is the that neighborhood.
