The view was nice

when i checked in - the owner made my friends wait for 3 hours before giving us the room, the owner said we can use the jaccuzi anytime as i was catching up with my highschool girl friends after years. The fact that he said that is why we chose this place! When we wanted to use the Jacuzzi at night, he accused us of doing drugs and started using a harsh tone while speaking to us. After going back and forth for like 10 minutes, he agreed to let us use the Jacuzzi. When we went to the Jacuzzi, THERE WAS SHIT inside it. we didn't even have the energy to fight at this point. Later in the morning, we had a late checkout and demanded 10k LKR and sort of harassed us for it. We believe this mistreatment happened because we were all people of color and not white.

Located centrally right next to a few good breaks ( gas station, insight, seadream) and not far from Marshmallows and easy right/left. The staff are super-nice and friendly, allways attentive to any need. The room has great view to the ocean and the rice and cury dish tastes good. Recommneded.

Amazing location

I stayed 7 nights at this beautiful hotel. I had a very nice room with a veranda with sea view, the areais very nice, very good restaurant and beautiful dogs and a beautiful cat.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The living outside area was lovely and spacious, with ample space to hang out right on the ocean front. The rooms are all immediately accessible to the outside area. Our AC broke momentarily and it was fixed within the hour. Close walking distance from the busy town. Two lovely resident Labradors!

No immediate beach to swim from, although you can walk across some rocks to safely access the water.

Breakfast was incredible- so much to choose from! We also ate in the restaurant for dinner, it did take a while to come out, but if you’re not in a rush then it is really delicious and such good value. The dogs are also gorgeous (two labradors). Everything was very clean (the towels smelled great). It has a stunning view, right on the beach with a deck and beanbags to watch it from. The plunge pool is ideal for cooling off, but not big enough for a swim.

We stayed in the villa and it was a little outdated, but I think they’re in the process of renovating everything as my friends stayed in one of the new rooms and said it was lovely. The plunge pool could do with a bit more of a regular clean although it does get breezy so difficult to keep on top of the things falling into it.

There is a new part of the hotel and old part. The old part of the hotel is not the same as the pictures so be mindful when booking.

Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. View were spectacular

Difficult to locate property. Not identified as Mantaray Mana. Rooms did not match the photographs on booking.com. Outdated and overpriced. Many things things listed on booking.com as being in the room missing including, TV, dishwasher, cooking utensils, hairdryer. No pool. Jacuzzi only. Dogs peed on the bean bags all day every day. Not beach front. Ocean view but on a rock wall. Extremely slippery floors in villa. Limited parking. Over priced laundry equivalent to $7.50 per kg for laundry.

Some of the staff were pleasant and nice.

The room was not maintained, there was no light on the balcony either, in addition the room was next to the kitchen and there was a very unpleasant noise most of the time. The shower is shocking in terms of maintenance and smell.
