La FIOCCHINA - Magic Place - apartments & studios in Garda Lake - countryside farmhouse, inside the middle of the lake between sky & water

The place has a wonderful location high above lower Lake Garda. The views are a little obscured by the nearby forest. Great place for peace and quiet and for easy hiking starting straight from the property. There is a quirky and simple old-fashioned trattoria nearby ('da Lidia') which, however, offers a heavily meat-based menu. The first-floor two-room flats are well equipped, although plastic mugs were offputting and the absence of ovenware meant we couldn't use the oven, just the stovetop.

We initially booked a ground-floor studio flat, which turned out to be extremely small and cramped for a 5-day stay, so we reluctantly took the larger 2-room first-floor flat, which was quite a bit more expensive. Despite the description on Booking.com, there was NO wifi. So if you need to work online from here, forget it! For shopping you need to drive right down to the lake (20-25 mins), turn left, and Conad supermarket is 1 km on the right

Beautiful view, nice accommodation, run by a very friendly and welcoming family

The farmhouse and surroundings are very nice, the hosts very friendly. The view is amazing. I think the hosts have recently started to invest and they have a lot of plans for improvements. Child friendly.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and with summer temperatures in excess of 30 degrees it can be difficult to sleep at night. Internet could be better.

Awesome place in a beautiful and peaceful location. The hosts are wonderful and always happy to help with advice or a delicious coffee. I felt at home during my stay there and will definitely return next time I go to Lago di Garda. The studio had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. What a treat to have the first coffee at sunrise out in the garden with a beautiful view of the lake. The animals were a lovely addition to my experience at La Fiocchina. Thank You!!

Wi-Fi could’ve been better but that high up the mountains Internet isn’t always the best but when you’re up there you shouldn’t be on your phone enjoy the view and relax

Great location high in the hills with amazing views to Garda Lake. Surrounded by nature and tranquility. Very welcoming and helpful owners. A few minutes walk to a great family run restaurant.

Got charged €40 upfront as cleaning fee as we had a dog (agreed in advance and very well behaved and clean dog) which I thought was a bit pricey.
