The Maverick Downstairs - Lux Apartment - Close to Downtown Boston & Airport

Great location, quiet neighborhood. Spacious apartment, with everything you need!

Parking was a challenge but manageable!

We loved the location, so close to Boston and the airport. Easy access to the home via door code, no keys to get lost/misplace. Very quiet neighborhood, great eating establishments within minutes walk and easy access to major roads to get to airport and downtown Boston.

Although there is street parking available, we never found available parking near the home. We were always parked several blocks away, but the neighborhood seemed very safe to walk to/from the van no matter how far out we parked or how late in the evening.

The Maverick was a perfect option for our group of six. Convenient, close location from the airport and downtown Boston. The apartment was clean, spacious, the beds and pillows were very comfortable; AC and heat if needed. Stocked well with access to additional bedding, towels, if needed. Kitchen equipped well for cooking needs. Shower water pressure was strong. Welcome binder had dining recommendations (ciao pizza was delicious!). Brian was also a very responsive and informative host. We would definitely stay here again!

Not in the hosts control and do not hold this against them however the tenants living in the other unit have a strong ammonia smell from perhaps cats. This is only noticeable in the entry way to the unit. Maybe something could be placed in that entry way to mitigate that. The Airbnb unit does not smell.

Parking was a challenge - but that's just the reality when you're in a big city. The host's suggestions were super helpful.

Overall a great place, the host was great at providing info needed ahead of time and also responding quickly. Really like that it is close to the airport and didn’t have to deal with any traffic getting to and from it. Also close to downtown Boston and many great tourist spots and restaurants. The house was well stock with items needed for our stay, clean, and in a nice neighborhood. Nice patio outside and tv in living with many options. The coffee was delicious!

Parking, you have to park on the street and it’s at a first come basis and couldn’t always find a spot close by, so we would station the vehicle close to the house on non parking section unload items then go park. On the plus side two parking passes are provided. Only one restroom, which was not ideal for six people but we manage. Tv in bedroom was missing remote.
