Dove Court Travel Lodge 7 - Top Floor Double Bedroom

A nice large room with access to a large shared kitchen.

A first email received had a PIN which I thought was the key code, whereas the key code was actually a message within the booking(dot)com app.

This property is clean and well kept it is very nice place

The privacy

Sharing bathroom with another not so clean individual who used my wash items. Found top floor tiring to get up every day

It had been refurbished and was suitable accommodation with all relevant facilities provided. We were allowed to change bedroom.

Unfortunately we found too many untidy areas, plastic wrapped kitchen ware, crockery with labels still on and a cramped bed with not enough room for the feet. Also there was a lot of noise when staying in a room on the roadside, a light bulb missing in our room, sawdust left on the floor in the kitchen and our room + an abusive guest who stayed in room number 1. Generally there was a lack of a ‘lived in’ vibe and unprofessionalism from the cleaners. I saw them throwing linen up the stairs and it rolling back down and chucking keys on the floor in front of me whilst working. Although all the mod cons were in the property there wasn’t any recycling or compost facilities which are important for guest and the environment! We tried to communicate our bad experiences with the manager and his helper Jonny which was heard and we hope certain improvements can be made soon.
