Swanky Residence, 4 stars, city centre

This apartment is centrally located in the old town—step out the front door and you're instantly on charming cobblestone streets, surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. We walked from the train station, which was a bit ambitious with two young kids and lots of luggage, but it’s definitely doable if you’re up for it! While we didn’t cook during our stay and can’t comment on the full kitchen setup, the apartment did have a washing machine and a clothesline on the back patio, which offered a nice glimpse of the castle. The space was functional and comfortable for our two-night stay. A lovely added bonus was the selection of games and activities available for the kids—they were a real hit. The host was very professional, with clear instructions, reliable Wi-Fi, and a welcome book that answered all our questions, including great local recommendations. All in all, it was a pleasant and convenient base for exploring the city and I would recommend it to those planning on visiting Ljubljana.

Peaceful apartment in the centre of the old town and very quiet. Good restaurants, bars and cafes all within easy reach. One bedroom has a balcony overlooking a leafy courtyard and with a view of the castle.

The apartment was clean and well located. The beds were comfortable. There is a washer/dryer in the apartment with laundry detergent which came in really handy for us. We also liked that there was air conditioning. The hosts provided us detailed instructions for check-in and were very responsive. Parking was included and the hosts provided us instructions on how to get there since it is located 20-min away by walk. We forgot a small bag after checking out and the hosts messaged us to let us know. They put us in contact with their cleaner and we were able to get the bag back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Gala and Iztok were excellent hosts!

I really liked our stay at swanky residence, we were a bit worried in the beginning as we were coming as a whole family with young kids. But the apartment was very well equipped and central so it made our daily tours much easier to be planned. Just one think to keep in mind that there is no elevator in the building and the apartment is central in Ljubljana so there are no cars or taxis allowed after 10am. Were arrived in the afternoon so our taxi knew the contact number of Municipal electric operated vehicles that eventually helped us get in. That was the only setback but we managed through it.
