"Aangenaam verblijf"

Appartement was schoon. Voldoende handdoeken. Keuken met voldoende benodigdheden om te kunnen koken, bakken en wassen. Airco? en voldoende ventilatoren. Duidelijk en vriendelijk contact met de eigenaar. Zicht op het zwembad die tevens 24/7 toegankelijk is. Het is er rustig en de bewoners zijn zeer vriendelijk.

Parkeerplaats is wie het eerst komt die het eerst maalt en daarom een ramp om een plekje te vinden. Zwembad is gewoon chloorwater. Dus geen zoutwater zoals in de beschrijving. Aandachtspunt voor de eigenaar; - wasrek is kapot en verroest. - voordeur kan niet op slot.

"House that jack built"

Location was very poor. Approached through miles of industrial estates. Overlooking a very busy motorway and a noisy dogs home.

Property was dated and in need of maintenance. Marketing said pool open all year. We were verbally abused by someone claiming to be the ex president, and thrown out of the pool area. This was Friday afternoon and the agent didn't reply until Monday with "it must be just open during the summer months"

It's a nice apartment with a lot of potential but it feels like it's seen better days. The description isn't accurate and it's lacking general maintenance and attention to details or regard for who's staying in the apartment. Would be excellent if they bothered to spend €2/3k to bring it up to speed with even just one a/c split per floor and half a day's worth of handyman work for minor repairs like broken window mechanisms and the like.

SECURITY The window in the ground floor bedroom doesn’t lock which means anyone can enter the flat, which is particularly concerning when you look at how all the other flats have security bars on all windows, which we only had on 50% of the ground floor windows The window in the living-room also seems to have issues with the locking mechanism, not sure how effective it is The marble counter-top in the ground floor bathroom isn’t fixed to the cabinet, extremely dangerous We found cockroaches on the pool-facing balcony, which meant we had to keep the windows closed most of the time which isn’t just unsanitary but also extremely uncomfortable without air-conditioning COMFORT The advertised air-conditioning was a portable unit which could barely cool one of the 3 bedrooms and half of the fresh air goes out of the window as there is no hole in the wall/window to let the hot air out, so you have to keep the window half-open. So half-open window with cockroaches on the top floor to chill 1 of the 2 rooms and a choice of cockroaches or shut windows with no air-conditioning on the ground-floor The micro-wave power control wheel is loose and it’s nearly impossible to understand what heating you’re using, very annoying with kids’ milk There is at least 1 chair missing: 5 chairs vs 6 beds, too few cutlery for 6 people, no wine bottle-opener and while there was plenty of salt there was no sugar or oil which is of course not mandatory but annoying to have to buy for only a few days (presumably previous guests would have left some behind but no trace of it) Communal swimming pool collected dirt throughout the week. We removed over 20 dead bees on Friday plus countless leaves and ended up cleaning the whole swimming pool with a skimmer on Saturday
