Pristine 1Br Apt in City Center- Free Parking & Coffee Machine

Yövyin kaksi yötä asunnossa. Asunnon rappukäytävä oli aika eksoottininen ja epäsiisti. Tullessani asunnolle, huoneistossa oli todella viileää, koska ikkuna oli jätetty auki tuuletusta varten. Ilma oli siitä huolimatta aika tunkkaista ja asunto tuoksui aika voimakkaasti raikastimelta. Syy tunkkaisuuteen selvisi mennessäni kylpyhuoneeseen. Osa suihkun lattialaatoista oli ikään kuin irti, osan lattojen välissä saattoi olla jopa sentin rakoja ja vettä oli varmaan päässyt aika paljon laattojen väliin, joka on saattanut muodostaa jotain homekasvustoa, koska haju oli voimakas. Asunto oli muuten erittäin siisti ja persoonallisesti remontoitu ja sisustettu. Kaikki muu oli todella siistiä paitsi tuo mahdollisen vesivaurion aiheuttama haju. Viileän asunnon sai myös hyvin lämpimäksi pattereilla. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki muu tarvittava kuin uuni ja astianpesukone. Pakastinluukku oli täynnä jäätä ja se kaipaisi sulattamista. Kun lähdin asunnolta haisin aika voimakkaasti tunkkaiselta huoneilmalta. Lattia kannattaisi korjata, jottei vesi pääse rakenteisiin vielä pahemmin.

Very stylish loft. Host provided us with quite detailed information about arriving to destination, parking, checking in. Very good kitchen equipment. Good location if going to concert in Palladium or even visiting centre and old town of Riga.

Bed mattress was too soft for our preference. Even though, its not a problem for a short stay, but I guess people spending two or more nights would love to use some kind of cabinet to store their clothes (instead of the stand in the corner of bedroom).

Did not like that I struggled to unlock the keybox, because the code in instruction was incorrect. Heating was not turned on when I arrived, heating is provided with portable electric heaters only, and warm floor in bathroom, but when turned it on, the electricity supply got disconnected, leaving me in the dark. Also, there was a problem with WC. Host was extremely helpful and arrived immediately to fix all the above. So that was great and all turned out excellent at the end. Thanks a lot!

The location itself is fabulous for easy commute as the flat is in centre of Riga.

I’ve had a terrible 8 nights stay. To get into the property was crazy because the front door is blocked by two small steps and then the main stairs were so tiny and broken - they were so unstable and steps are bowed - it was a huge task to get all my three heavy suit cases upstairs by myself due to this difficult and dangerous access to flat - this was also an unappealing and outdated hallway. There is an accident waiting to happen because the wooden creaky steps feel so broke and unstable! Once I’ve arrived to the inside of property there was only 1 and half toilet rolls left for the whole duration of my stay - these were to be “sufficient” for 8 nights stay as advertised said toilet roll included! There was barely any hand soap left by the sink or any basic cleaning materials available for the toilet for eg air freshener, toilet bleach. The bathroom itself consistently smelled of sewer stench and old mould - this smell was spreading across the flat as soon as I’d open the bathroom door and it was not possible to get rid of it. The horrid stench was ridiculous! There were qty 3 x very old and empty air fresheners that I could see - and these obviously didn’t work as they were there just for the looks and empty. I then found the side bathroom storage unit and artificial plant covered in layers of dust - this is very anti sanitary for me. There was also the previous guests false eye lash in the toothbrush holder which made me feel physically sick. Don’t bring kids, because the electrics in the bathroom and kitchen are positioned right next to the sink - so extremely dangerous! The lounge was impossible to relax in because the sofas constantly were coming apart so you could only lie down on one sofa square.

The sofa bed is not suitable for two people. Kids had hard time sleeping on it. The extra linen for sofa bed was just for one person as there was no pillowcase. We also experienced some drainage issues in shower. Cleanliness of the apartment -it was sandy under the carpet next to sofa. Some spiderweb was hanging from lighting and coat hanger. And kitchen shelwing was dusty.
