Laurah's Retreat, West Sands Holiday

The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach and the facilities. Parking nearby too.

The single beds are more suitable for small children, rather than my 20 something children. They didn't sleep too well. But the double bed was very comfortable in the main bedroom.

Great location within the park, which is an exceptional park in itself, very big so free bus service provided which runs throughout and a bonus bus stop 1min from accommodation, came in handy as we had our mother with us who isn't very mobile. Great for dog lovers, nice walks along beach or nearby nature reserve, our dog was welcomed in all locations except show bars and swimming pool. little thing but there was a hoover! have stayed in other caravans in the past that didn't provide this and although clean when we arrived its always nice to try to keep it that way with 2 boys and a dog in tow :)

Single beds a little springy for our liking but didn't stop us getting the sleep we needed. other than that the park and accommodation covered all our family needs. No fault of the owners or park to be fair but someone did open their car door onto ours denting it! and of course didn't admit to it!! :( so would advise parking alongside the road and not in the parking bays near the play park, have stayed at this park many times in the past without issues so guess we were unlucky on this break but not a nice thing to happen to anyone.

Clean caravan with everything you need for a good stay. Gated veranda was fabulous giving a one year old a little freedom and a pet a place to chill in the sun 😊

Wasn’t the cleanest (I own a cleaning company so maybe a bit picky but crumbs in and on top of the toaster and lots of stains on the sofa. The shower area very mouldy and was dripping constantly but we would stay again

Nice caravan, good location on the site.

WiFi non existent no point having it. With children the gas nobs needed to be check regularly to make sure they had not been knocked on. A cover would be wise. The caravan was clean but curtains and sofas had marks on and old sweet wrappers left under beds.

Good location host (Sarah )was very friendly and accommodating

It wasn’t very clean oven still had a wok full of dirty oil in the oven and the grill had baking dish with oven chips still in it the bin although was empty had food stuck all over the top toaster had some brown stains all down the side we left the caravan cleaner than we found it
