Fijn appartement, erg compleet.

The property was lovely in a great location and really comfortable, can’t recommend the property itself enough.

Sadly the check in experience wasn’t great. We confirmed what flight we were getting the morning of our arrival as requested which was due in at 8pm. We were then immediately asked if we had got our bags and if we were in a taxi even though we hadn’t even left to go to the airport. This continued for some time including multiple calls, even though we reiterated our time of arrival. Eventually when we did arrive at the apartment the person to check us in wasn’t there. We waited for 10 minutes for them to arrive and demand a €30 late check in fee for being 7 minutes past the late arrival time all of which was us stood waiting for them.

I liked that we had 2 coffee shops immediately downstairs and that there was a supermarket and train station close by. The apartment itself was ideal in space for our family and we could take a long walk to the centre. The recommendations provided by the host in advance but also via the QR code on the fridge and guide book were very helpful as well. For those looking for local cuisine nearby we would also recommend 50 Maravilhas where the food was lovely and the hosts were very accommodating but make sure you book! Uber was also fantastic for getting around.

Apartment rented above was noisy a couple of evenings which was a bit of a nuisance in the middle of the night but the comfort of the beds compensated for this. A couple of things would make the stay even better e.g. more toilet roll (a previous guest had already mentioned this) and providing things like a spare tea towel to dry plates etc. as well as a cloth to wipe kitchen surfaces. The hairdryer has to be fixed as it doesn't blow hot air and you must stick to refunding damage deposit within the 14 days indicated without needing to be chased.

Good location, public transport/restaurants/groceries nearby. Spacious apartment and comfortable with lots of amenities.

Rather unfriendly host - got upset we changed the check-in time and then made us wait 30 min to get in. We asked about parking and got no help (were told: very difficult to park in Lisbon) when actually it was pretty easy (and free) to park on the street and also there was public parking available.

Beautifully decorated, fully equipped kitchen (even with blender and tupperware). Bright common space, second bedroom has a small double bed. They provided a cot and a high chair too. Second floor with steep stairs but manageable, even with kids. There is a playground across the street too. Location is ok, bit far from the city centre but walking distance from LX factory and with a bus that taked you to Bairro Alto. Lidl is like 600m from the property. Nice bakery, breakfast place and winery on the same road. Would recommend.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It was a bit further from the main tourist streets, which made it quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood was very pleasant, we felt safe, and there were several cafes, restaurants, a bakery, and a large supermarket nearby. The distance to the city center is very small, with buses and trams running frequently, and it’s also easy to order a Bolt. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is air conditioning and heating, a washing machine, a dryer, and a dishwasher, so you can really 'live' there for a while and feel at home.

The apartment is on the second floor. The stairs are quite steep, but a 3.5-year-old child was able to go up and down twice a day without any issues.
