Beautifully renovated. Really well equipped with everything we needed for our short break. We arrived to a welcome pack with local produce (the chocolate egg was well received by our girls!). There is a huge outside area where I imagine in the summer months the children would love to play and a smaller, private area to the front of the property with a picnic bench, enabling you to eat and drink outside during the warmer months. The Cart Lodge is located in a truly, stunning area of Cornwall. Perfectly placed for the beach - a short walk down the path from the property and you are at Porthcurno beach - a real bonus, particularly during the summer months. A short walk across the other field and you are in Treen, where you can visit the local pub and cafe. All in all we had a wonderful short break and the sun shone! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here during your visit to this beautiful area of Cornwall. Thank you Harriet and Sylvain for hosting us, we hope we can visit again.

Bread, milk, Cornish Fairings, and local eggs, all left as part of the, very welcome, welcome pack. The Cart Lodge was spotless, and very thoughtfully furnished. Comfortable beds too. The location was exactly what we hoped for, close to Porthcurno, the Minack, Sennen, and only a short drive to St Just. We actually live at the other end of the county and thought we’d have a couple of days away. This was excellent accommodation, great location and we wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to others.

Super place, with calming, tasteful decor and many thoughtful touches throughout. A short walk to several beaches and a very good pub. Perfect silence at night, and a lovely green space right outside. We enjoyed playing games by the fire, and appreciated the nice local treats provided by the hosts as a welcome gift. We were only two, but the space could comfortably hold four or more. The region itself is paradise, with many interesting nooks and corners, and don't miss Minack theatre down the road.
