1bdrm 5min walk to the beach near Severine, Neptune beach, Cowrie shell

After booking through the booking.com website and got the confirmation , drives all the way to the location and called the property owner , got shocked the apartment not available

Very nice apartment, kitchen had everything of need, beach 5-7 minutes of walk. Overall a very good experience and certainly one of the better apartments you can get in Kenya, especially for such favourable price.

Room which l booked and got confirmation when l arrived at the apartment was already taken , they gave another room which l had to pay $31.

The given room no 264 apt B15 most of the power sockets not workin , by 0900 electricity went off while other apartments have electricity. Main Room had ceiling fan but no switch to turn it on.

Place is in a secure and serene location with close proximity (walking distance) to Neptune beach Looks exactly like in pics. Reliable Wi-fi , twin size bed comfortable for 2, generally relatively clean with large sliding windows and fans important for Mombasa weather.

Kitchen needs some upgrade in terms of cookware which are very bad quality (rusted) sink (rusted) and gas cooker (rusted). Invest in more gadgets like toaster, blender and little things that are used everyday in the kitchen like bowls, graters, chopping board. Also the distance to Mombasa CBD was quite long.
