Kitchen is not actually a kitchen

Great room in Castelmezzano with an even greater host, Teresa. There was a box of breakfast goodies (tarts, muffins, and cakes) waiting for us when we arrived the first evening, and the following day there was a bag of fruit and sandwiches. The bed was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, and having a washing machine was a real treat.

This complaint isn't necessarily towards the property but is my own fault. I didn't realize that the spa wasn't included with the room. It was 120€ to reserve the spa for 12 hours. If I had realized that the spa wasn't included, I would have tried to book a room with a view (our view was the neighboring houses), or at least a room that wasn't quite such a hike to. Or, if there had been an option to book the spa by the hour rather than all day (I didn't ask if this was an option or not), I would have happily booked three hours in the evening. Again, this was my fault for not reading the fine print, so I can't fault the property.

Room was clean and very unique place to visit.

It is a bit of a walk so was a little hard for my wife.

Good location

No air conditioning. Not possible to sleep if outside is + 40C Kitchen, even not possible to cut of melon no single knife or even plates to put food somewhere
