Palmetto Palms - 4BR in Emerald Shores

The property was a nice size and close to the beach w/ a short 3 min walk. Loved it was gated community, our yard was fenced and the grandchildren had a yard to play. A lot of positives to staying here. Appearance is nice just needs a good cleaning and new couches. We would stay again despite what I’m about to write below.

The dryer did not dry clothes the greatest. The couches were filthy with stains 🤮. When we first arrived we moved the couch a foot to have more room and there was an old lighter and a pile of wet pee under the couch ( from previous tenants). Possible pets, maybe idk but disgusting to find. In second floor bathroom there was a strategically placed dirty tissue on the light above sink - almost like previous people had done it so we would know if it had not been cleaned prior to us arriving and clearly it had not been. It says private beach but a company sets up umbrellas and chairs and you can’t get close to the water to set up - this was a huge inconvenience with 5 grandbabies all under age 4. The company has you take off bedding before leaving and start a load of laundry and dishes … which is fine but that’s why we pay fee for cleaning. The outside could use a good scrubbing compared to other houses around it. But mostly need a better cleaning crew and new couches !!!
