The kitchen/lounge room smelt like mould, could not stand in the room for longer than 10 seconds as I could not breathe. Lounge area was yellow and full of stains. Broken tiles in bedroom, nearly slicing husband’s foot when we walked in. Kitchen was filthy, finger prints everywhere. Left over food in cupboard half eaten. Big gaps under sliding doors for bugs to enter. The location was way back from Main Street, there was a chained monkey just next to the villa. Lots of dogs around the villa. Not family friendly at all. We checked out within the first hour losing our money and stayed elsewhere on the Main Street.

When we finally found the unit, the stay was lovely and relaxing. The town is great, lots of restaurants and local shopping without the masses you find in Bali. 10 min scooter ride to the moto gp track.

The address is very hard to find without prior knowledge of the area. Especially without phone reception. 1 aircon unit wasn't working at the time. But some friendly locals helped us locate the unit. The stay was great though.

Pros: - close to Kuta center street (15min walk or 3min scooter) - very roomy especially for a couple (all apartments have 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms) - big kitchen - small but clean pool - the manager is super friendly and helpful (we even got a scooter to use for free for the whole duration of our stay) - comfortable beds - All rooms have fans and ac - an additional monkey or gecko will roll by to say hey 🙂 - they clean and change towels every two days Cons: - not nearly as clean as depicted on pictures - the access is confusing; the road is ends suddenly at Mana eco resort and from there its another 300m on w muddy road trough a “village” (village dogs are sketchy if you are returning when its dark) - the address on booking website is not the correct one. Contact them before arriving to get coordinates - the whole build seems like its new but was hurried - if you wanna cook for yourself you will probably find that pots and pans they have will probably not be sufficient - dirty silverware
