The staff were really attentive and friendly - we were even welcomed with a song and a dance on our arrival. The resort was literally on the beach with beautiful views. There was everything we needed. We were positively surprised by a big selection of food at the restaurant, including plenty of vegan options. Our cottage was lovely, with a balcony and a direct view of the sea. There was also some entertainment organised on one of the evenings we were there. We had a massage at a floating spa which was a great experience, and we also did snorkeling and saw plenty of colourful fish - really memorable.

The main thing we would improve is the breakfast - we found it rather limited and not as delicious as at other resorts we stayed in other places in Philippines. Another thing worth noting is that the resort was a little bit more difficult to access than we had expected - it was approx. 1 hour drive from Coron town and you had to take a small boat to arrive at the resort. To be fair, it was actually a nice experience, however, we had forgotten about it since we booked a while before our trip. So in case you're planning on exploring nearby beaches or the town, it's not so straightforward. Ideally, this is a type of resort where you stay and don't leave.

Eigenlijk niets

If you have seen White Lotus, this is how it would feel in Season 4, but without the tragedies. It is so beautiful, both the setting, the resort and esp the people. A cove all to ourselves, it feels so private without the high cost.
