"Beautiful surroundings"

It is so peaceful here. The area is stunning with lovely walks looking at the tea plantation fields. Owners are lovely although we communicated solely via Google Translate! Beds were comfortable and a great shower.

We forgot that only cash is accepted. So it was an hour and a half round trip to the ATM at 7-11. 🙈 We should have got more organised.

"Rustic charm in a stunning location."

The hosts were lovely. Because we don't speak Mandarin, there was some confusion, but we figured everything out and other guests were also helpful. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was great (local fare) and the location was stunning.

The rooms are spartan, which we expected, and they were really chilly, so be prepared for that. We were wearing coats indoors. We didn't realize that we needed to pay in cash, so also be prepared for that. We had a bit of a scramble to get to an ATM, which only worked for us because our daughter has a Taiwanese bank account.
