A spacious hidden gem with hot tub, lovely garden & views

Very well equipped comfy and spacious

We had absolutely everything we needed. It was so clean and homely. The hot tub was gorgeous and well maintained. The views were incredible. The location was perfect, almost like you’re in the middle of nowhere but you’re right on the edge of a tiny little town. Every single person was so friendly. There’s a few bars to visit, some lovely little shops, a small Morrisons and corner shop, a butchers, a delicatessen- a must visit! and just everything you’d imagine a little town / village to be, all within a 5 minute walk.

The smallest thing - the mattress in the upstairs double room was quite hard however that’s personal preference.

This property had absolutely everything you needed and more! Generous welcome basket, the most delicious local butter and cheese! Kitchen was equipped with everything, including a coffee machine! High quality bath towels and separate towels for the hot tub. The Hot Tub - best one we have ever used! The hood is so easy to put on and off and the temperature holds throughout your use, which is rare! The location is perfect - fabulous walk up Hergest Ridge and 2 minute walk to The Swan Inn for delicious food. We will be back!

It was all fabulous!

Little Acre is a lovely house with a large, beautiful enclosed garden which was perfect for our Sproodle, Bruno, to enjoy. It is an extremely practical and well equipped place and had everything we needed plus more! The hot tub was lovely and we had great fun in the games room, especially playing table tennis. The welcome basket was a very thoughtful and kind addition featuring local produce. Easy check in and great communication. Great location for visiting Hay-on-Wye. Highly recommended, we had a lovely stay thank you.

Dated and expensive . Uncomfortable mattress

Beautiful location, lovely gardens and great amenities with the games room and hot tub. The welcome hamper was a nice touch, the property was warm and welcoming when we arrived and decorated for Christmas. Very clean with good cooking facilities, pots, pans and plates etc.

Lots to love about the place, just quite a small kitchen table for five to sit round.

The position and grounds and the authenticity

This is y a criticism but if we had the opportunity out to have four bedrooms for four males then that would have been the only option improvement . The bungalow was spotless and a credit to the house manager

Absolute Gem of a place!! There is Nothing not to like! The property was very pretty comfy & clean, It was based in a nice set back area of complete privacy, hot tub was wonderful, house was well equiped for families, dog lovers, or just a couple to unwynd. The owner was polite and helpful and easy to reach, the town was small but had what you need, and we found 2 big country parks with a little stream for the dogs to splash about in, the pub next to the property " the swan hotel" is gorgeous with a wonderful crowd of owners/bar staff. Ludlow town is a must! As is hay on wye to visit. And visited symonds yat an hour away for fun canoeing.....

Nothing not to like!!!!

Secluded, quiet, comfortable. Everything you needed. Plenty of room for 4 adults or more. Shower was great. Hot tub and logs for fire pit were a great addition.

Although comfortable the furniture was quite dated

Really well equipped property, beautiful gardens with great facilities - games room and hot tub enhanced the stay. Good location with a short walk to town.
