Woodquay Mews

This is a charming apartment in the heart of Galway city. The location is just perfect. It has all mod cons that you will need such as oven, microwave etc. Iron, cleaning supplies, cutlery plus plates etc all provided. It is very comfortable and we will definitely be back.

No ironing board. It is also noisy at night but this didn’t bother us in the slightest as we were out late ourselves. It’s just something to take into consideration if you are looking to get an early night.

The apartment itself, the spaciousness

The location right above a busy pub so it was noisy, the front door was open so basically everyone could enter, and the host did not react at all

Cute little apartment in an awesome location. The washer/dryer was very convenient, especially at the tail end of our trip! Quiet, clean, comfortable bed, instructions for entry clear and sent in advance. The kitchen was also super convenient to save us money on meals. Minutes from the Latin Quarter and just upstairs from a restaurant with awesome pizza.

The only thing about the apartment was that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fan over the stove when we were cooking, and the hot water in the bathroom sink didn’t run at all. Not a complaint about the apartment, but parking was an issue. There’s a lot very close, but payment was tough. All of the pay machines on site were down, the parking app couldn’t be downloaded given our VPN (I think?), the website wouldn’t calculate the cost so we couldn’t pay that way. We even went to one of the convenience store locations listed on the site to pay there, but they couldn’t accept payment either. We found ourselves checking the parking lot often to make sure there was a boot or ticket on our rental vehicle. We found many others in the parking lot scratching their heads, trying to sort out parking as well. Perhaps the city was in transition from the on site parking meters to app use and having a few hiccups with. It may not be the experience of others.

Perfect location!

A very cozy apartment to stay a few days in Galway. It is clean and well equipped. The staff is always available to solve any questions regarding the apartment and giving tourist advice. My partner and I are beyond grateful. I strongly recommend it!

There is a floor tile that should be repaired in the kitchen area.
