New Sunset apartment - C&G Benal Beach

This is a very good apartment with a great location and view BUT…

…there were ants in the kitchen, the couch was over used and as a bed it was very uncomfortable and the hairdryer didnt work but the owner couldnt help us, beacuse she wasnt nearby :/ also from a lot of furniture (the shoe cabinet, the sofa etc) the screws kept falling out and the shutters were broken.

This apartment in Benal Beach was ideal. Communication was great, and the place was exactly as described – spotless, well maintained, and with stunning views from every window. The kids loved the pools and slides, and the beautiful gardens were a lovely bonus. Right behind the complex is a fantastic park with walking paths, a playground, pond, and cactus garden – perfect for little adventures. A few more pieces of cutlery and a clothes airer (to go with the fab washing machine) would be helpful, but overall it was a brilliant base for our holiday. We’d definitely return!

The view was the best part about this property. The apartment is relatively cosy and the location is nice being close to the beach and bus stops.

The apartment needs some attention. The couch is filthy, so much so that I kept the same clothes to use to sit on it. Soap dispensers are on their last legs. There was one single dishwasher tablet and 1 roll of toilet roll left for a 6 night stay. The complex itself is an old hotel and the apartments were sold off years ago but it has a run down and ghostly feel. There was supposed to be one pool open but each time we went down, the doors to outside were locked. Games room, bar, restaurant, etc. closes until the summer. The biggest pet peeve is the price, we could have stayed in a nice hotel nearby for the same price.

I have been using Bernal Beach since 1990 as I was a timeshare owner . The views from the bslcony were great and the apartment was up to spec with all the essentials present . The main tv was a little hard to get use to if you are not used to using streaming / fire stick . The tv in the bedroom did not work , and the main shower head ( rain shower) did not work . Other than those two small problems we were very happy with the apartment and location .

Cups for tea/ coffee , 4 cups the same as each other .

The views were spectacular. Amazing balcony with large table and chairs, perfect for sunset and sunrise. Loungers available to take to pool/ beach. Extremely comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen and TV with digital channels. Efficient air conditioning in all rooms. The complex has well priced supermarket, an arcade, cafe bar, gym and lots of pools and flumes. There is a charge for sun beds but the apartment has its own.

The wardrobe door is stuck and the main door is tricky to open until you get the hang of it.

Location was great, quite loudly though even if located on 8 floor.
