If someone were to take the best spa in Europe and turn it into a guest accommodation, this would be it. All the furnishings, linens, appliances, and interior design elements were of the highest quality. And the aromatherapy that hit my nostrils upon entering this lovely space, well that was something special. The towels smelled divine, the sheets even better. Speaking of which, out of the hundreds of unfamiliar beds we‘ve slept on as touring cyclists in the last two years, this one wins the top prize. I never wanted to get out of it. It was like sinking into a lightly scented, down marshmallow from heaven. The pillows were perfection as well. And they were plentiful. I‘m a fan of many pillows in an apartment. It‘s one way to spoil yourself while traveling. The rest of the apartment speaks for itself- a delightful, strong shower, a nice kitchen with everything we needed to cook a good meal. The location was right downtown and we walked for kilometers and saw all the sights in Cremona. We were allowed to safely secure our bicycles in the locked courtyard. Our very cordial host Giulio, who is also a cyclist, was kind enough to bring us a real bicycle pump for our tires. He and his wife were pleasant and communicative. We even had welcome gifts of wine, water, and other little treats. Come and stay here. You will think you‘d died and gone to heaven.
