ON THE WAY - Mindelo Beach/Guest House

Located along Camino Coastal route. Cozy guesthouse ( including the rooms ), nicely decorated and you could relax anytime in the living room ( common area ) which snacks and drinks are always ready. You could really feel how passionate the host is running this place and want the guests to get the best experience. The host Ana and her husband are very nice, helpful and very friendly. Ana gave us highlights about what to see in the next town - super useful tips or otherwise we should have missed those great sights-seeing spots. The breakfast was the best the whole Camino trip ! Ana was very responsive and gave us good suggestion for dinner. Check in process was very clear and smooth. I would highly recommend this place for those walking Camino Coastal. It is around 28km from Porto or otherwise you have to walk another 6km to Vila do Conde which might be too demanding for the first day.

It’s not possible to overstate how much we enjoyed our stay with Ana. Her guest house is beautiful and her enthusiasm in supporting pilgrims absolutely unsurpassed on the whole Camino. She was very welcoming and outstandingly helpful. We had a wonderful stay and her recommendation for dinner was excellent.
