La Samanna, A Belmond Hotel, St Martin

The location is perfect, and the property is gorgeous and very tropical. It’s on a magnificent part of island with the BEST BEACH. Gorgeous beach villa room right on the beach.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Parfait. Le temps de se laisser aller et décompresser.

Les insectes. Chambre proche d’un étang. Mais personnels attentifs qui y à remédier immédiatement. Bravo.

One of the best beaches, the best service and great food. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a luxury vacation.

Beautiful property overall on its own secluded beach. Rooms were very chic. Most of the staff were all very kind.

Upon arrival, we had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready. Supposedly there was an issue with our original room so they upgraded us. Although the upgraded room was beautiful, it wasn’t a great start to our stay. We tried each restaurant on the property, none were great. I had asked them to book their horseback riding excursion for my husband and I a month ahead of our stay. It was never booked. We asked them multiple times while on property for an update which we never received. The list could go on as it pertains to the incompetence of the front desk / concierge staff. Very disappointing especially because it was our honeymoon.
