The Wee Heilan' Coo

The property was well-maintained, clean and cozy. It was a perfect base for our short break, with all the facilities we required. With a messy 6 year old son, it was ideal having access to a washing machine and tumble dryer! The lounge was such a relaxing space, with really comfortable sofas and even a bean bag which my son adored! It really was a wonderful, home-from-home that we all fell in love with!

There are just a couple really small things which would not stop us returning, but would make our stay perfect… firstly, I found the mattress to be quite hard, so would have preferred an optional mattress topper. I know this is personal preference, but it did give me a restless night. Secondly, although the property is really clean throughout, there is a horrible, brown stain around the bottom of the toilet. It just didn’t fit with the vibe of the rest of the house. And finally, the shower was very weak and I found it took a long time to wash my hair. A more powerful shower would be preferable. As I say, NONE of these things would stop us returning to the Wee Heilan’ Coo, but it would make it even better!

It’s very cosy and homely 🥰

Check-in was quite straightforward, easy and good location of the flat, very quiet area perfect for those looking to rest. While it's not right in the "city centre", the flat is just about 20 min walk away from it. The flat itself has everything you need for your stay. The rooms and beds are very comfortable with a lot of space. WIFI works perfect if you're looking to watch a movie. There are lots of green areas right outside the property for those who are bringing our furry friends. My dog loved the place! Honestly, it was a perfect weekend. Highly recommended!!

Great place to stay very comfortable and homley, ideal for a family stay.

Only thing I would suggest was another sofa or single chair in the living room area.
