Host & Stay - Prospect Hill Apartments

There wasn’t one thing I liked about the property. No heating and no hot water all weekend . Got moved to another apartment in the same building and there was no hot water or heating in there

Good location, clean, nicely decorated

Parking was difficult when all 3 apartments were booked as you are entering the property from a main road with the dropped curb only covering part of the driveway. Pulling on to the driveway (cant reverse on as the road is to busy) meant reversing off onto a main road which was dangerous. Hot tap on sink was loose, left hand shower handle was very stiff and needed force to turn on and off (been highlighted before by other guests) bed at the front of the property was awful and we had to move to the other bed as the mattress felt very used and very uncomfortable and squeaked at the slightest movement (previous reviews have highlighted this last year). Key to the front door was difficult at times to unlock as the lock needed some wd40. The sofa looked lovely, but so uncomfortable. Kitchen was lovely but no workspace to prepare food. Also be aware that once you have paid for the property the refundable damage payment there is a deduction of £10 on return for admin

Location and parking. Excellent facilities. Well thought out.

Booked for New Year’s Eve weekend Perfect for couples as great location and good access to Whitby Everything you needed was provided,very clean beautiful property will definitely be staying again
