The Barn at Ty Beic

The Barn at Ty Beic is a beautifully presented cottage nestled in the Welsh hills near Bala. Warm and welcoming, it boasts rustic charm combined with all the mod-cons. Communication from Karen was excellent, providing detailed information on how to find and enter the property upon arrival. 10/10 highly recommended, would gladly stay again.

Very small thing…. Bedside tables would be nice. Somewhere to put my phone and drink ect… but honestly thats a very small thing. Out of so many wonderful things

Fantastic location, lovely cottage. There was tea,coffee and milk in the fridge in arrival.The owner Karen noticed when I arrived, and emailed to check everything was fine. As someone who has run holiday cottages in the Peak District, I was most impressed. Will definitely be back!

The property is lovely! Perfectly situated, easy to find and just a short drive from Bala. It is the perfect size for a couple and is very clean and modern inside, but still full of character and charm, with a beautiful view. It is super well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay - even providing fresh wild flowers, a little complementary milk and other basic cooking essentials. Karen is the perfect host and has clearly put in a lot of effort and attention to making the Barn a wonderful stay. She provides plenty of instructions on how to reach the barn and any additional information you might need. My partner and I had the perfect stay here and would definitely come again and recommend!

We loved everything

We loved this cottage. Views were amazing. Cottage so warm, comfortable and cosy. Very well equipped and so peacful. Karen was very helpful, with local mountains to climb. Though we did do Yr Wyddfa in the end amd its well worth the hard work. Altogether we absolutely loved pur weekend there and plan to come back.

Everything was perfect.

So comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. We didn't have the best of weather but the views and the quiet location made it a lovely and relaxing break. We would definitely return without a second thought.

There is nothing we didn't like. If we had to make one change it would have been to have a reclining settee to relax in the evening. That is purely personal preference. Everybody's opinions differ but for us it was exactly the secluded, peaceful place we wanted.
