I received so many messages from the owner, both before and during my stay, it was very stressful. I lost count at 30 messages. They were confusing and he repeatedly sent me videos in Italian. He suggested coming over at 9pm, I said no. I just wanted to relax, but just not possible. Also, the bed sheets were awful. Very cheap nylon material that wasn't comfortable at all. The pillows were very thin and without any comfort.

The location is perfect, especially for those who come with car and would like to visit more Toscanian smaller villages than only exploring Firenze. The safe private parking place really helped us a lot. The train station is just nearby, so it's also very practical to travel by train to Firenze, Sienna, Pisa and etc. The host Massimo is super helpful and kind, easy to talk to. It's really a great place to stay.

The apartment is very conveniently located, around 8 minutes walk from Empoli train station. The apartment is spacious and it also offers a balcony. There is also a private parking available on site, which was great, as we could leave our car safe. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, fridge and all the crockery one might need. The host, Massimo is fantastic, he kindly waited for us to show us around the apartment, although we arrived quite late. He made sure that we were okay throughout our stay and also offered some tips to visit some cities around. Extra points for the cold water in the fridge waiting for us (especially that it was 39 degrees when we arrived) and also for the coffee and chocolates as a welcome gifts

The bathroom and shower cabin are on the smaller side, so definitely consider this when booking for more than 2 people

The place was decent, and the host was exceptionally nice. Their communication was excellent, with prompt responses to my messages. I will definitely be looking to rent this place again.
