The Bach at Te Toki

The bach was spacious, well equipped, comfortable, has a good location. Was really a very pleasant surprise, we really ennjoyed ourselves.

The only minor negative observation is that it is quite close to the road (even though you cannot see the road from the bach and its terrace (which is great), you while there is no intensive traffic, you do hear it very clearly.

Location and plenty of space

Could do with some maintenance, clothes line and kitchen cupboard doors and pans with unsafe handles

Comfortable, quite, great air con through out the house. Walking distance to beach and town.

Neighbour driving up and down the shared drive at speed on occasion which was worrisome with kids when they played outside.

We were able to bring both our dogs along on our stay here and it made all the difference being able to have them with us as my partner and I are both very attached to them! The location was very close to Te Toki Reserve which is a great place for us to run the dogs and in general a very nice walk! The bach also had a covered up and secure deck area at the entrance which is where both the dogs stayed in the evenings so we didn’t have to worry about them getting rained on or escaping overnight. The bach was fully equipped and had far exceeded our expectations. We didn’t end up cooking anything during our stay but the kitchen was fully equipped for if we had wanted to. “Wow, this so nice!” is what slipped out of both my partner and I when we first arrived.

Nothing, the bach was amazing! The only thing to keep in mind though is that if you’re planning on bringing dogs, is that there is a very large grassy lawn and occasionally wild rabbits will pass through so our prey driven dog ended up jumping out the car to chase after it. This was easily fixed by just rolling up the windows as we drove up the driveway though and was by no means a problem we had with the bach - just something to keep in mind for any future guests planning on bringing their pups along with them! ☺️

Nice and quiet

Unfortunately we had a bit of wind but that was weather related so couldn’t use the deck out front but loved using the back enclosed deck area

Easy to reach by regular public transport, nice and comfortable property. We enjoyed our short stay.

This is my second stay and the house is wonderful, with many needs thought of and catered for, thank you!

The only struggle is the parking for only one car. If anyone has a second car or someone comes to visit there is just nowhere to park and the street is not suitable.

The cleanliness and comfortable beds plus a good sized fridge and well purposed kitchen. We loved the proximity to palm beach. We would stay again!

Was pricey but it was peak season and we had a wedding to get to at mudbrick. We didn't feel there was enough electrical plugs couldn't blow dry my hair with a mirror
