Beautiful house, we enjoyed our stay here and will return if we come back to Cleethorpes in the future

Lovely little house, quiet residential area, a 2 min walk to pub. Helpful host, all information provided. Could have stayed longer. Would happily book again!

Location was good for us as it was on the edge of town, but there were supermarkets, pubs and takeaways nearby. The property was clean and well equipped. We found the beds comfortable. There was sufficient parking which was off road and free. The TV and sound bar were great. The kitchen was well equipped, except for a decent scourer for the pans. Check in was easy and communication from host was very good, with clear photos and instructions. The property was spacious enough for the 3 of us.

One of the bedrooms faces onto a busy road which can be heard through the glazing. If you are a light sleeper, then the back bedroom is better. There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom. There was no bath mat available during our stay which meant the tiled floor was slippy, so we had to use one of the towels. The back bedroom window doesn’t lock properly. The front garden was overgrown. There are a few niggly bits of maintenance. The next door neighbour has additional needs and is very socially awkward, which we weren’t aware of in advance and made us feel uncomfortable until we contacted the host who then explained the situation to us. We felt this information should have been available in advance as this was quite unnerving initially until we understood the situation.

Location was great We used the caravan shop opposite to purchase milk, Pub less than a 5 min walk does food until 10pm. Excellent instructions from the host about parking and amenities nearby.

Key safe was at a low height which has the potential to cause problems for older less able persons. Also we had some trouble opening and locking the rear door
