Apartamento Calma Carihuela Beach - 10 metros de la playa

The apartment is amazing. Very comfortable beds, very nice renovated and I absolutely loved the stylish dishes. It is equipped with everything necessary for living. Beautiful sunrises were the best part of our stay😍 The owner and staff were extremely nice and easy to communicate with. I will gladly come back next time!

The apartment has a fabulous location, on top of the beach. The sunrise is spectacular and it warms the whole apartment almost instantaneously, even in January. The beds are super comfy; even when we requested a baby cot it was supplied with an extra thick mattress. Spot clean and incredible reception by the host. Highly recommended, especially if it's not on party days because there's a bar just under and it may be very noisy.

Location is perfect as it is right on the beach front. Balcony is lovely, and it was great to see the sunrise in the mornings. We were in apartment A which was on first floor. Lounge area very nice, big flat screen TV and comfy settee. Air Con in lounge worked well. Double bed was comfy with a nice mattress. Curtain between bedroom area and lounge.

No oven/ grill - only realised this when we bought a pizza we couldn't cook it! Overhead shower didn't work only hand held shower unit which was a pain. We arrived Friday night, after a day travelling we were thrilled with the apartment until 10pm came and the bar below became a disco until 2am. The same happened Saturday night and then we bought earplugs for the rest of the week! The music was vibrating right through the apartment. This apartment is great if you are also out until this time otherwise don't expect to sleep before 2am. As we arrived after 8pm we had to pick keys up from office key box in Torremolinos, taxi driver took us there before taking us to the apartment. Photo of bar below apartment should be updated as it has changed to Zero Zero and we didn't know where apartment was.

The apartment location was excellent, right next to the beach, bars, and restaurants. The facilities were good and had everything you needed. Very clean and modern. Although you were next to everything, there was very little noise and no issue sleeping.

We had an issue with cats on the balcony however, the staff were fantastic and tried to resolve the problem as quickly as possible to ensure this did not impact our stay. There wasn't anything about the apartment we did not like.

Great location for the beach and good size

*First negative review on booking.com* The aircon unit (which is located in the living room space) was completely insufficient to cool the bedroom and we were unable to sleep at night as a result of the heat. We had to move the mattress under the aircon just to keep cool at night but that was uncomfortable and not what you would expect from a property charging c. €215 per night. There was an industrial free standing fan to help but the noise was so loud when it was turned on that it also kept us awake. We asked for help from the property manager after the first night but none was provided and no solution offered. After 4 nights of no sleep we had to move out of the apartment and pay for a hotel. No refund was offered. The property manager claimed there was a heatwave at the time but we cannot find any evidence of this.. Luckily the hotel we moved into was lovely and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday.
