B&B Palazzo La Rosa

Palazzo antico ristrutturato rispettando dettagli originali, ambiente arredato con gusto rendendolo molto confortevole.

Posizione perfetta, in centro ma poco prima della zona traffico limitato, pertanto raggiungibile comodamente. Per noi che viaggiamo in moto abbiamo avuto la possibilità di parcheggiare all’interno della struttura

Muy acogedor, Carlo muy servicial, siempre atento para ayudarnos con todo. Incluso con temas que no eran de la reserva. El lugar muy cercano a todo y muy tranquilo.

Alojamiento impecable, con muy buen gusto, y calidad, no le falta ningún detalle, al contrario. El dormitorio, el baño, el techo, el suelo, la iluminación, espectaculares. Moderno respetando la esencia de una casa tradicional. Todo muy limpio y confortable, en el centro histórico de Altamura, y accesible a la vez. Carlo, el anfitrión, muy atento y amable, feedback inmediato y muy cercano. Sin duda, repetiríamos.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo La Rosa in Altamura! The place is just at the gate of the Old Town. The room was spacious and very comfortable, everything was new and tastefully arranged. There is also common place – fully equipped kitchen. Carlo – the host – is very nice and helpful person, he explains everything, gives recommendations and tells interesting stories about the history of the Palazzo and Altamura. Altamura itself is great location base for exploring this part of Puglia and Basilicata - we spent here 10 days (sic!) and we visited: Bari, Matera (amazing place), Gravina, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Lecce (stunning churches!) and Metaponte (great beaches), some of them by public transport (train or bus), some of them with our car. We tasted the best focaccia ever in Antico Forno Santa Chiara and delicious gelato at Gelateria dei Mille, where we also had breakfasts (Giovanni from Gelateria is also super nice guy).

The only disadvantage of Altamura is... too good food – you will grow fat if you spend there 10 days like we did :)

We enjoy our stay at Palazzo la rosa. The room is very spacious and we like that there is a separate lounge before the room with fridge and sitting area, nice area to chill out and have something to snack. The B&B is located at walking distance to the center. We recommend this place
